Subject: RE: Help: Desperately seeking Cityfolk From: Willie-O Date: 19 Feb 00 - 08:33 PM Yeah, well...its not The Bay (a 400 year old department store as we know), or the bay, but the Bay Area is I think a pretty widely standard term for the San Francisco Bay environs. Long as they include the Area, I don't mind. Willie-O on the banks of the Mississippi, but not the one you're thinking of... |

Sometimes, I get miffed about my home being thought of as a "poor country cousin" to a place that huffily refers to itself as "The City," with a capital "T." -Joe Offer in Sacramento, California, USA, a nice place- |

Subject: RE: Help: Desperately seeking Cityfolk From: katlaughing Date: 19 Feb 00 - 05:03 PM Hi, Jen, Just doing a quick search, the only thing I was able to find was a webpage for a radio program in Santa Cruz which included this almbum on a playlist in 1998. Here is a link to that page. Maybe you can email that person and see if they can help you out. Good luck, katlaughing |

Subject: Desperately seeking Cityfolk From: GUEST,Jen Bridges Date: 19 Feb 00 - 03:46 PM Hi, I'm desperately trying to find a copy of the 1992 CD, "Shadows on the Wall" by a group of guys in the Bay Area who used to call themselves "Cityfolk." Any information that you can trickle out to me is great, hell, I don't even know their names. I'll pay just about anything for a copy of the CD--and I'd promise to give it a good home. Thanks! Jen |
