Hey, on a musical note , any of you folks familiar with the Red Elvises? I'm blissing right now because they're going to be performing a few miles up the road (and slightly to the right) from my home on April 1.

If you guys refuse PiP featured fandom I think I'll ask the Red Elvises. The worst they might do is bash me with a balalaika? Anybody know how to say 'pig' in Russian?

As for compensation Gary T (ahem) PiP is an unincorporated, unfunded, unofficial and decidedly unprofitable NPO. Gratuities and honoraria gratefully accepted at the door.

Yeah....I wrote her and explained that I'm the dumbass with the possum, but I think the idea's good, kinda' cute I suppose....but I agree with kat......See Max first. Remember that there is, even for me, a more serious side of the place and that needs to be emphasized. We have some fine and NEEDED and useful contributors that might not see it as a good idea.

I'm so glad you guys are working on your consensus building skills! (Mom would be proud.)

Just to clarify a bit (should the collective Mudcat conscious opt for Featured Fandom in the April edition of "Pigs in Clover")...

I wouldn't be naming names, or favorite mammals or musical instruments either. What I would like to do is have a statement (paragraph or two) about Mudcat, its mission, its history, its vision. All that fun stuff they teach ya in Jr. Management School. Only not so serious, right?

Now that I've confused you completely, please know that I don't need an answer right away. Take your time, mull it over, let me know in a week or so if you can.

I enjoyed my trip to Mudcat. Never heard of you folks until now. The piggies are much more adventurous than I am... they've dragged me all over the darn planet, in fact. Never could have guessed that would happen, but then perhaps I should have. After all, they are *flying* pigs.

Don't worry about the escapees. They're usually pretty well behaved (and home before dawn). Much less trouble than the average teenager really. Send me the bill for damages, if there are any.

I very much enjoyed my layover at the Mudcats site. Fun place to explore. My hubby and I are both blues fans, so I hope that when our lives settle down some (long story) we'll be able to spend some time hanging out with you folks.

Possums? You don't ask much, do you? Might as well ask for armadillos! LOL! Animated possums. Hmmm. Well, not that I know of. If you have animation software you could find some clipart and animate them yourself. POSSUMS? I take it you have a soft spot for them, eh? Actually, it could be fun. Possums baring their teeth, possums carrying their young on their backs, possums in the trees, possums rummaging through the garbage. I'll think about it. No promises.

Would you please ask the Mudcatters if they'd like to be the PiP Featured Fans for April? They don't know me from Adam, after all. One way you could sell it to them is that my holiday theme for April will probably be April Fools. I hear April 1st is something of a high holy day for Mudcatters! 'Course my hearing isn't what it used to be.
