The record "The High Level Ranters - Music and songs from Northumberland and the borders" (Trailer LER 2037), ca 1972 - contains a beautiful son named "A U me hinny bird". The cover says it is a lullaby describing local places, and the trades for which they were known. Can't understand the lyrics because the, for me totally foreign dialect. Can someone help me?
