Thanks for the input. am looking for this for a friend. I passed the "Haul Away" suggestion on to him and a recording by Burl Ives.

Couldn't find anything about it on a web search, but interestingly enough, noticed that it scans well to the tune of "Haul Away Joe"

Here is as much as I know. It was performed at a NJ folk Festival in the 50s.

When I was a little boy
So my mother told me
Kings and queens have royal love
That you'll never know dear.

Now I am a wiser man
I have found out first hand
We are all but kings and whores
All man is but one man
All man is but one man.

I am hoping to find the lyrics, chords and a recording if it exists.
