Well, this reduces my interest in Court TV yet another notch. I still want it, though, for "Homicide: Life on the Street" reruns, but alas, I don't think it's going to happen with our rinky-dink cable company.

I work in an industrial area with NO PLACE to go for lunch. So we all gather around a little black/white TV which gets 4 channels - 2 well and watch the judge. It is not a "REAL" court. The judge is an ex-con who is a real judge according to his PR. If I were alone I would watch a test pattern.

WHAT! No you people got it all wrong! I watch Judge Mathis ALL THE TIME and I love him! There should be more people like him in the world! The guys knows howto dole out the justice. I think he is a real judge, but just happens to be an idiot also. I personally don't watch an awful lot of court tv, but I have seen Judge Mathis, and I couldn't stand more than five minutes of his ghetto slang and stupid generalisations. . . My vote is that he is for real, but is just stupid. . .

Does anyone besides me watch court tv? Yesterday, I watched a show called JUDGE MATHIS. There was a dispute between a white man and a white woman over the age of a horse that the man sold the woman. The "Judge" asked the man where he was from, and the man said "Arkansas" that, so called, judge just about called him a liar simply because he was from Arkansas, and for no other reason. I cant believe this is a real judge. His "ghetto" dialect and awful grammar lead me to believe he is an actor. What say ye?
