There is information on the Pretty Park Worm here, and (very little as of now) on the South Park Worm here. There is also a hoax known as the South Park News Letter Hoax.

Actually, according to what I've been reading on the sites, both SouthPark AND PrettyPark are rearing their ugly heads again.

Can't say it enough... be careful out there, and if you want to make sure that you don't catch anything, always use a condo...er.... anti-virus program.

The virus is for real - I was sent it last week. The attachment was called PrettyPark.exe. My research shows that it first appeared a year ago, but obviously it's still around.

Friends at a large engineeering company recieved the following from their company website tday. No confirming data, but be alert:

"This is legitimate. The South Park virus is on the loose again. 1. Don't open anything in e-mail with that name and 2. update your virus definitions. Oh -- and have a good weekend.

E-Mail Virus Alert! A new virus has been identified that is not covered by the latest Virus Definition Update! If you receive an E-Mail message containing a South Park.exe attachment, delete it immediately without opening it."
