I began mining Reggae music about a year ago. 95% of it is dreary, unimaginative. But there are some gems in there. Anything by Eric Donaldson is great (esp his version of Shel Silverstein's "Sylvia's Mother), U-Roy's "Wear you to the Ball (sic)", D. Scott's "Draw your Brakes," and the Melodians' "By the Rivers of Babylon. The king is Bob Marley and "No Woman No Cry" is a classic (I think the lyrics just don't stand up, but musically it kills). I have a greater version than m
