Oh, Kat, those were just examples of answer songs, since I'm not sure Marco would understand what I meant by the term. But, while I'm at it, here's an answer song that will give you a chuckle - Click here.

NOTE: The sexism expressed in the songs in no way expresses the thinking of the guy who posted the link...

I'm usually pretty good at this stuff, Marco, but you threw me for a loop. I'd swear it had to be See You In September. but maybe without the jazzy stuff the Happenings added in.
Do you remember any more of the song, something that makes it different from the Happenings recording?
Hmmm. Come to think of it, there may have been an "answer song" to "See You In September," but I don't know it.

Marco; I have to say I thought it was the happenings but since you say it wasn't, I am stumped. I don't have my reference available. Hope you have luck finding it. Neil

Which group recorded the song with the following lyrics:

"I'll see you in september When summer is gone; Have a good time but remember I'll be waiting back home ...

It was released in the late sixties (perhaps 1967) and is NOT "See you in september" with The Happenings or The Tempos.

Thank you

Marco
