BTW He lists bones as one of the instruments used on this CD. Anybody else play bones? And whose?

I recently purchased "Night March To Gettysburg" from his Mp3 webpage. And I love it. A collection of well known (Hard Times Come Around No More) and less well known (No One To Love)Civil War songs. Jerry researched the letters and history of the 140th Ny Regiment from Monroe NY. All the songs on this CD are mentioned in letters written by soldiers of the regiment. His style is simple and true to the style of a soldier singing to find some relief from war.

I am a sucker for "Sad Songs" and am driving the family insane replaying the above mentioned songs.

Visit him at www.mp3.com/jerund for some samples of his work including parodies he has written of Civil War classics. He has promised to visit Hearme when he gets back from a business trip to Buffalo.

Anybody know him? MMario - he's up by you? In some of these selections he reminds me of Mbo. Give it a listen. SS
