If we're recommending books again.. I'm still recommending "Round Ireland with a fridge" by Tony Hawkes (ISBN 0 09 186777 0)

... great book...

Roger, what a great guy you are. Thank you, my friend. I am right there with Rick on this. I think I am going to order all three. I am intrigued to read what old Christy has to say about his career thus far, and especially the early days. "Turlough" also seems like an interesting premise. And a bio on Crisp just promises to be interesting reading. Thanks for thinking of us.

All the best,

Mick

Just seen some publicity for October publication in UK, 3 of which might be of interest:
1)Christy Moore's "My Life in Singing" (Hodder) " a memoir based on 250 of his favourite lyrics"
2)Not music but I know Rick will be interested: Paul Bailey's biography of Quentin Crisp "Stately Homo" (Bantam)
3) A first novel by Brian Keenan "Turlough", a recreation of the life of T.O'Carolan (Cape).
