I had a "power breakfast" with two business associates. One ordered oatmeal and fresh orange juice declaring that his body was a temple. The other ordered fried eggs with bacon, sausage, fried potatoes, and toast, coffee with cream and a Pepsi. I asked him if his body was a whore house and lost the order.

If our bodies are gardens then music represents the blossom that enriches our gardens and make them even more beautiful.

If my body is a garden, I have clearly been over fertilizing it and ingnoring the growth of the weeds. Sandy

Reading of everyone's gardens this week, has me thinking of herbs and other greenery, so...who better than Shakespeare to tell us more....

'Tis in ourselves that we are thus or
thus. Our bodies are gardens;
to which our wills are gardeners; so
that it we will plant nettles or sow
Lettuce, set Hyssop or weed up Thyme;
supply it with one gender of herbs or
distract it with many, either to have
it sterile with idleness or manured
with industry; why the power and
corrigible authority of this lies
in our wills.

- Othello -
