I am still trying to beat it............try the e mail, you never know what might happen. I actually got an answer from Alsdair Fraser once. |

Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Thing That Kept Me Going From: GUEST,Joerg Date: 29 Jul 00 - 10:04 PM Whowww - that was fast, Sorcha. YES, I also remember that "Dick Feller Wrote" was the name of the album (heh, heh, CD's weren't invented that long ago) the song was taken from. The song is worth to be remembered, so thank you and Good Look Joerg |

Subject: Thing That Kept Me Going From: GUEST,Joerg Date: 29 Jul 00 - 09:38 PM There once was a great songwriter - Dick Feller (in hope of having spelled his name correctly - and him being still there, somewhere) Johnny Cash did 'Any Old Wind That Blows', and I think 'Come The Morning' which I remember done by Hank Snow was also written by Dick Feller. (And that's also a song I never found the lyrics of.) Dick Feller was also a gifted guitar picker (exactly the style I like) and I remember that I once (at least 20 years ago) heard himself doing his own song 'The Thing That Kept Me Going'. That's a song with words of some kind I like very much, somehow sad but also with great humour, joking on things that might not be that funny to you ... and maybe, with some practising I might also be able to do something like this guitar solo. If anybody tells me the lyrics for this song I promise to add the tune right here. Joerg |
