Try contacting Wendy Wetherby, The Queen Of the Scottish Folk Cello. Her CD is on Watercolour music WCMCD0019 "A Breath on the Cold Glass".

A search at  http://www.google.com/ for "electric cello maker retailer" gets about 112 hits (including Ted Brewer of Sheffield, who Roger is probably thinking of), so you could always do a spot of research there...

If you're UK based you could try to contact Tim Veitch who lives in Abbotts Bromley, Staffordshire. Not only does he play electric cello, he drinks beer too! John J.

Where are you?
Which Country - state - county ???
There maybe an electric violin shop here (sure I have heard of it) but I don't want to waste time checking up on it if you are not in the UK

I want to know how common these new-fangled fiddles and cellos are ? Can anyone tell me where I can go to find out more about them because my birthday is coming up soon and so I would very much like to try one out particularly a three-quarter length cello.
