Led Zeppelin released Houses of the Holy, the title track of which got bumped to the next release, Physical Graffiti.

Jimmy Buffett's "Living and Dying in 3/4 Time" is named for a line from the song, "Nautical Wheelers," which is on the A1A album.

Only 2 of ELO's 11 albums where named after an album cut, Eldorado and Secret Messages.

"Almost Blue" by Elvis Costello. The song of that name, written by EC, appeared on his album "Imperial Bedroom". The album with the same name was a collection of country covers, and did not have that song on it.

Every time my band has put out a recording we choose the title by picking a phrase from one of the songs that represents what the album is about.

Possibly misleading thread title alert: album and song share a name, but one doesn't have to be named for the other in this game. The Doors were probably just tripping too hard to remember that they'd already used that one...

The album Waiting for the Sun by the Doors doesn't have the their song by that title on it.

Any other examples?
