I dunno wat t' say. For the longest time I couldn't hear the event and went thru a similar scene. My problem was solved when I checked my cable connections to my speakers. They were loose. Sounds like that's not what's going on in your case. Before I reloaded the whole thing I went into the regedit file in Windows 98 and deleted the program from there. Luck to you with all this.

Yup. I was. I did. Many times.

couldn't be heard using F9 the last time, either. NOT THIS TIME ... I know Mbo had the F9 the entire time this time.

Nope. I was typing in the text box, where the cursor was blinking, then hitting the enter button. Then trying it again, then hitting the enter button. Then swearing. then typing in the text box, the hitting the enter button. Then logging out, logging back in, typing in the text box, hitting the enter button, swearing. Then going into audio configuration, not being able to do anything, going back in, typing in the text box, hitting enter, swearing.

then trying to find out how to just uninstall the whole damned thing again, not being able to, turning off my computer, swearing.

It was not my best evening in recent weeks, albeit marginally more eventful than most ...

hmmmmmpffffhhhhh.

WW...was frustrating for us as well knowing you were there and couldn't type in. Hoping Reggie had the answer...were you hitting "Enter" on your keyboard after typing???
