This song is probably by Dervish, but a guy is singing the song, not Cathy. I don't know the lyrics, but the chorus goes something like 'And there was war and love and...don't know...families left without a home ...don't know...killing and died for what they believed for generations to come..'As you see, what I have is far from complete, so my question is, does anyone know the entire lyrics? In my opinion the song is about Irish history of the past centuries, and it is told in an interview-manner. A guy comes to Dublin "in 1964", there he meets a man who told him the story of his family. What I like in the song is that it seems to cover a great period in time, but it is very short, and thus compact. It seems to me that it is great educational material, for say history teachers (like myself).
