In this Morning's edition of the Portland Press Herald, (State & Local Section, pg. 7B) I note the passing on the 5th of "Musician" Mark J. SARAPAS, 49, of South Portland. According to the obituary, he was "known for his generosity" among other laudable qualities. I never knew the gentleman personally, but as he was a "Folk Musician" and founder/owner of "Shadow Productions" with about 8 compositions to his credit, I expect that he was known to at least a few Mudcatters, especially in the Northern New England area. Visiting hrs. are today (Tues. 11/07) in So. Portland at 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the C-T Chapel, 1024 Broadway, and a "Celebration of Life" @ 11:00 AM Wed. at the Holy Cross Church. To those who knew Mark, my sincere condolances.
