Just a further thought, the FAQ also mentions the existance of Hearme and ICQ and the chat that happens during the Mudcat Radio.

It was also commented that the Paltalk threads are getting spread out and bits of information can be found in several.

Would it not be more constructive to use common references such as the FAQ (and possibly a more specific "real time" communications guide) than to give part information (as the first answer in this thread was -more than one chat is used both on a personal and forum level) and also to try to avoid repeating the same info and avoiding spreading what could be condensed into one thread becoming several?

Jon

Aha!! Thanks DtAM - now can anyone point me in the right direction on how to go about joining paltalk? Being a Gnome I am too small to see my own way....

Not that I will be joining over this weekend, too busy splicing the mainbrace with real people at the gathering!

Cheers

DtG

Do we have a chat room here that I haven't noticed? If not are there any plans afoot to have one that anyone is aware of? Or if there are no plans does anyone have a recommendation for a nice folky chatty sort of place where I can go when Coronation Street is on the box and I couldn't be bothered to do anything more constructive???

Cheers

Dave the chatty Gnome
