And if anyone else would care to volunteer - no previous experience is required and on the job training (and encouragement) is provided. Excellent career prospects and all of us receive the same remuneration. Apply now, just put your name down here or send a personal message to anyone mentioned above. When the next DT version comes out there'll be another few hundred new songs without tunes to challenge us. Regards, John

Second that MMario. John's contribution has been immense, as has your own. I'd also like to point out that Malcolm Douglas does an enormous amount of work providing information on each of the tunes he submits.

Cheers,
Alan

And I will point out, as the modest man from down under did not, that John_in_brisbane has contributed WELL over 100 of the tunes found in the last few months. Snuffy, Mary in Kentucky, Malcolm Douglas, Sorcha, IvanB have been very active as well, Matt has worked on a number (where DOES the man find time) and others. IF I have forgotten anyone, it's not that their contribution isn't welcome and appreciated, it's that my brain cell is fatigued. Alan of Oz and I believe alison as well have been kept busy posting the midi's that are sent; and I know Joe Offer has spent a good deal of time harvesting and formating to forward the info to Dick and Susan at the DT.

Just a quick note to express my sincere thanks to MMario and Alan of Australia for the huge amount of work done to harvest missing tunes from the DT. Without MMario's unceasing enthusiasm and organising abilities we wouldn't have filled such a huge gap over the last months. And of course it was Alan's vision, determination and follow through that ensured that we now have a sustainable and substantial collection of tunes to supplement the formal DT database. I know that there are lots of others to thank as well, but I'll leave that to fellow Mudcatters.

For they are jolly good fellows ...!

Regards, John
