Thank, phoaks.

In the Banner Ads thread, McGrath has asked about the auction being regional and that he'd never looked at it because he assumed it was all USA because of money exchanges, postal costs, etc.

I'd just like to say that anyone can make a payment for an auction item by clicking on the secure server on the Support Mudcat page AND, for this item, at least, I am paying all postal fees, no matter where it goes. So...Kevin, "git cherself in there, man, 'cause this is a kewl 'un!" **BG**

Just thought I'd whet your appetites.**BG** I just put this in the auction. I have included the text of the Preface in the auction listing, which tells about each song.

This is a book of sheet music of about 10 songs and two dialogues. It was published by Boosey & CO, Ltd. in 1898. This is Book I. It is in good shape with 36 pages. The title is:

Select English Songs and Dialogues
of the 16th and 17th Centuries
Edited by Arnold Dolmetsch

It was covered with brown wrapping paper and has an address label of a John Thomas III in New Orleans, with a zip code, so I assume he was not the first owner. I found it at a library sale here in Wyoming.

100% of the successful bid will go to the Mudcat and I will pay shipping to whomever; it is lightweight.:-)

Happy Bidding and THANKS!

kat
