Subject: RE: Black gospel websites From: Hollowfox Date: 02 Dec 00 - 10:24 AM Thanks anyway, guys. Great sites, Mousethief, but no lyrics. It does make me feel better about my 'net search skills, though, when you other 'Catters can't find it either. |

Subject: RE: Black gospel websites From: mousethief Date: 30 Nov 00 - 05:39 PM This is VERY incomplete, but the bios of the groups seem very well thought-out: http://www.eyeneer.com/America/Genre/Gospel/Profiles/index.html These certainly have an names: http://www.blackgospel.com/marketplace/ Here's a general history: http://www.ncgcc.com/ahti/2.htm I found these on http://www.google.com/ searching for "Golden Gate Quartet" and "gospel music". Subject: Black gospel websites From: Hollowfox Date: 30 Nov 00 - 04:12 PM I've been getting requests lately for lyrics to Black Southern Gospel songs, and all the websites I've found have either been for songs from the White gospel tradition, or sites that only sell CD's. The links at Mudcat and elsewhere haven't helped. Any ideas where else I can look? |
