HG,I think what I was saying is that somescalesstart with a pull not rater than a push note. I can't play them but I believe that a single row Cajun player will use them. Also, I believe that there are similarites between this and the way a blues harmonica player might play.

Hopefully we both will be educated here.

Jon

Subject: Pull Scale on Single Row Diatonic Windjammer
From: harpgirl
Date: 02 Dec 00 - 05:45 PM

...mmmm...maybe I should ask the question another way...Jon if you are up could you say something more about the pull scale? I can't quite grasp the difference in pull and push scales on this little windjammer I am playing with? I know it is like the harmonica but I haven't got one handy...It has seven buttons and the scale beginning with do at the bass end is push, pull, push, pull, push, pull, pull push on the first four buttons...damn I'm not sure if I am even asking the right question...
