Lisssen here, Peter.........damn it all, I was using those things for my daily talks with the wee Ciara.......I loved it when she would roll her eyes and say something like "You've been reading Peter T's TFTD's again, haven't you Da?". I miss 'em, my friend, really do. I rarely posted to them, just read them and then thought about them all day long......really must get something more in my life..........LOL. I hope you start them again, or at least as you have time to.

Yucck. The thought of recycled thoughts is grim. I have never given the same lecture twice in my life, and I would hate to have my stale thoughts clutter up the place. O.K. I'll give stray thoughts a try.

heck...TFTDs are not required....just "Stray Thoughts" as they work out...(workable title, huh?)

Once you do something like that, you break at least TWO of Murphy's Laws...
1) "Don't do TOO good of a job...folks will begin to expect it."
2) "Do a job twice and it's yours."

Peter, maybe you could follow the example of Abby Sale and start recycling. Abby posted his "Happy" thoughts and facts on rec.music.folk for a number of years, and eventually they were compiled into the Happy Archive, which provides folk music information for almost every day of the year.
I have to admit I have looked at only mayb eten percent of the "Thought For the Day" threads, but every one I looked at was a good one.
So, recycle, already.

Gee, a thread title all my own -- this is fame. I have no idea, kat, but I suspect not. One of my universities is still on strike, and I have no idea how it will all play out. I seem to be only here occasionally on the weekends, and the fast check in and out during the week. This doesn't look much like changing till summer. The neighbourhood still seems to be thriving thoughtfully without me!

I don't really want to do them in bits -- people get used to having them there (or at least something familiar to avoid). A day here and a day there is sort of miserable. At least to me. When I get some extended time I guess I will start them again.
