'Catters in the north FL, southwest GA and southeast ALA area will have a chance to meet other 'catters at the "Paddy Go Easy" concert in Tallahassee on saturday the 16th, starting at 8:00 pm. It's at the Warehouse, 706 W. Gaines Street. The band is locally popular for their renditions of standard Irish pub fare - "the rowdy, bawdy stuff, with songs you never heard your mother sing!" We also do a number of chanteys and other a capella material. We even edge over toward bluegrass with a few moonshine numbers. The show will probably end about 10:30 or so, and after a short break to dispose of used beer and refill, we'll slide into an informal session. "Roger in Baltimore" and "Harpgirl" will be along, and some others. Hopefully, the media mob covering the election brough-ha-ha wil have moved on to some other crisis by then.
