Reading the 'Films to have a good blub to' thread reminded me of a song called ( I think) Brief Encounter.Some of the words were:
Brief encounters only lead to brandy in a glass
And somewhere down the line, someone's calling time
A brief attack of conscience....

And that's all I remember, including who sang it....Sandy Denny maybe? A voice like hers anyway. Anyone able to help?
