Subject: RE: Chatting-problems From: GUEST,Sergio Alguim Date: 24 Dec 00 - 08:42 AM Now I am back in the chat again after 12 hours. I didnt have any Ident + password, I was only logged in as a guest. But it was still impossible for me to log in again with another guest-nick-name. a) Do any of you know about an anonymizer-service that also offers chat-with-java service ? So I can chat through the anonymizing-service on any java-chat-page. b) Is there a way I can deny the site taking cookies ? I think its possible to avvoid it, but I dont remember how.

Subject: RE: Chatting-problems From: Jon Freeman Date: 23 Dec 00 - 11:02 PM It is not clear what you are talking about but assuming you are talking about PalTalk, I think that bouncing only prevents a user from re-entering that one room but it may effect the whole system. If you have been bounced, you have to wait 24hrs, or at least until the next day (I'm not sure what time zone they work on) before you can re-enter. Jon |

Subject: Chatting-problems From: GUEST,Sergio Alguim Date: 23 Dec 00 - 08:17 PM Hi. I have some problems on a chatting-side. The administrator excluded me, undiserved after my opinion, and now I cannot get logged in again. Maybe they use some cookie-system where they can see that I am coming from my computer. How can I avoid this ? How can I get into the chat again ? I must use the computer that I have, so I can not just change computer. |
