What do you mean, addicted? It's only been twice today!

Well, I'm not addicted to Mudcat anymore. I'm addicted to Quest for Glory. (It's known as displacement, I think...)

That was mean, Guest. Do you really think Pict's original post deserved that insult? It could have been taken with a grain of salt. Why not just forget this, take Okthen's suggestion and join up, and start again. We all have our moments. Get off on a better foot with a new Mudcat name on your next post, alright?

IT isn't Pict that's addicted as I read it....and a "tosser" is UK slang for a person who 'abuses' themselves.......delicately put for me, huh?

Picts couldn't have been tossers, there was a distinct shortage of decent cabers.

So just what does "Tosser" mean? Presumably, it's an insult?

Pict, be nice, the doctor has assured me that mudcat is only a temporary abberation and not truly to be classed as an adiction so put your claymore and battleaxe back on the wall, the afflicted will soon recover.

I know that there have been lots of threads which have parodied addiction and the AA 12 step program.

This is serious.

I was away for the new year, and I missed you all. Over new year I wanted to 'cat' more than I wanted to spend time with 'real' people.

The first thing I wanted to do when I got home was to log on to mudcat. I did, and I felt better

Help!
