Subject: RE: BS: users of Mudcat From: CarolC Date: 09 Jan 01 - 08:18 PM fleetwood, I'm glad you found the paper interesting. I feel I should just say, though, that I used those designations to make communication easier. I hope nobody feels pigeon-holed because of them. That was certainly not my intention. Best wishes, Carol |

Subject: users of Mudcat From: fleetwood Date: 09 Jan 01 - 07:02 PM I read with interest the research paper from CarolC, and, like most readers probably did, tried to find which category I fitted into. It seems that I come somewhere between a casual member and a lurker. I regularly visit the site at least three or four times a week but very rarely do I post to a thread. I do feel as though I know the regular contributors Spaw Mbo Catrin and the rest and I have on occasion been brought out of fits of depression by the reading of some of the threads. I have met one or two 'catters, in the flesh so to speak, at the Fylde Festival. I don't know if I should apologise for not posting but I rarely think of anything which would truely add to what the rest of the people have said. I thoroughly enjoy my visits to mudcat and I will continue to visit probably with very few posts in the future but please keep up the good work all of you - I apologise to anyone whose name I didn't mention but I feel empathy with you all. |
