Are any Mudcatters going to the International Folk Alliance Conference in Vancouver February 15-18? (http://www.folk.org/Conference/confinfo.htm ) It's going to be a great program--and include, among other workshops, a presentation that Margaret MacArthur Joe Hickerson and I will do about the Helen Hartness Flanders Ballad Collection.

The trip out will go down in future folklore. Some of us will be be on a "folktrain" choo-chooing from Toronto to Vancouver. Latest rumor has it that the folkies will get out and sing on station platforms any place the train stops. We could arrive days late for the conference.
