I was given a song today called 'The Cornish Emigrant's Song' words by Rev. Robert Stephen Hawker, Music by James R Dear. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about James R Dear? The song is in a collection of drawing-room ballads 1900-1914 called 'The Edwardian Song Book' Great if anyone could give me any info on this man...... Thanks, Lucy
