Subject: RE: Couch space in Whitby? From: lNick Date: 19 Mar 01 - 02:16 PM Last weekend the landlord of The Black Horse on Church Street told me that he had had a cancellation. Room only reasonably priced and you cannot get any more central. I do not have the number to hand but you will get it from directory enquiries. Good Luck |

Subject: Couch space in Whitby? From: Peter Kasin Date: 09 Mar 01 - 01:30 AM Thank you to those who suggested in an earlier thread Inns in Whitby for this August's festival. Looks like I began my search too late to find anything, and so, that brings me to ask: are there any mudcatters in Whitby, or within walking distance who would be willing to offer couch space? I'm a pretty easy person to have as a houseguest - will be out of the house most of the time, taking in the festival, eating out, exploring the town and outlying area, and, hopefully, meeting up with mudcatters at the fest. Thank you, Bill Sables, for your offer of a pre-festival stay, which I gratefully accept, if something works out for the festival week. Thanks in advance for any help. Hope to see those of you going to Whitby week. -chanteyranger |
