Wysiwyg: The 5th is a Saturday. But I will probably be setting up Friday night the 4th. The dutch oven would be welcome and I will have the guitar there. I'm hoping by then to have news by then about the song book but if I don't no news is good news. At that point there is liable just to be Jeff and I on guitars so if you want to bring the autoharp feel free. I hope to be in set up and have a roaring fire going by 8pm. Ask at registration for our camp. We won't be hard to find. I have a recipe for hopping johnny which was a popular dish back in those days. Kindest reguards, Neil

Sullivan's monument! I remember it well; used to go there for picnics a lot in my youth.

Alas, my next visit to Elmira will be April 26-30th, so I won't be around...have fun though.

Depends on weather and how tired and busy Hardi may be. Silly me, no calendar handy-- 5th a Friday? Are you setting up Friday night? Friday is more likely than the rest, with us, always. We could bring the big dutch oven and dinner for 8 or 9. Especially if it's campfire warm. You guys play, I'll skip autoharp and just sing with ya out of your songbook.

Will we see you the weekend before, at our Gathering?

Greetings; Any mudcatters in the SOuthern Teir area (Binghamton, Elmira etc.) or close. I will be at Newtown Battlefield near Elmira the first weekend in May. (May 5 &6) for a reenactment. If you're inclined, stop by. Will we be seeing you and Hardi, Sue? I will be in the Union camp. I am the first sergeant for the 12th US Infantry, Company A.
