Hey, guys thanks - found the man! I don't personally know him but me mate's 'puter dies a little death every time they gets as far as www.....

Apparently, Tom was s**t-hot back in London in the old days - so, who knows? Perhaps, we'll tempt him to revisit his old stuff at our club.

Last time I spoke to Tom McEwan was about five years ago, he was installing the computer system at the Archaeolink Centre in Aberdeenshire. I got the impression then that he had somewhat forsaken his music, but I could be wrong.

I used to enjoy hearing him play in Edinburgh, although I have to confess I found the Songwriters Group which he started and which used to meet in the Tron just a tad on the introspective side for my taste.

Challis, if you're willing to do a little digging, that link to Google will work.

I found a reference to the Tom McEwan you were looking for at a heading marked "playlist" by following some links I got to the Edinburgh Songwriters showcase founded by Tom.I couldn't get through on the link provided for Tom there as it was taking too long to connect.I'm sure you could eventually find him.

In the meantime there are some really cool sites on noctilucent clouds and aurorae.
