A couple of years ago, at the height of the Clinton/Lewinsky brouhaha in the USA, I wrote a song parody based on "Leaving On A Jet Plane" (a song which I find pretty cloying, though it has some great harmony lines). Being a Canadian, I could look at the Clinton situation with a certain sardonic detachment. What a circus it was!

So...I played this parody at the Mudcat gathering in Pennsylvania this past weekend, and Dharmabum requested a copy of the lyrics, so here they are.

It's great fun to sing, great fun to sing along with. I hope y'all enjoy it bigtime, specially my friends in the USA. Just give me credit for the lyrics, okay? Feel free to sing it anywhere, anytime...
