PRETTY WORDS
Too late to be sorry, too late to forget.
Pretty words, pretty words, you spoke such pretty words.
Love that's strong for a day like a flower fades away,
Pretty words, pretty words, how I love those pretty words! |

Subject: Pretty Words From: GUEST,Gern Date: 13 May 01 - 04:01 PM This is an old country torch song that shows how beautiful three chords can sound. Said to say I don't know its origins, but the chorus goes, "pretty words, pretty words, you spoke such pretty words/ pretty words were like heaven to me..." I remember it from the soulful Tompall Glaser, and also believe the Amazing Rhythm Aces did it. Anybody here know it? |
