Subject: RE: Virus Alert From: Chicken Charlie Date: 22 May 01 - 07:41 PM Karen-- Jeez, I clobbered that one without even knowing it. Got it from this "breathless lady" (as in hysterical, not as in erotic) who bugs me for all kinds of learned-helpless reasons. I said to myself, "I don't have time for this," hit the kill button remorselessly. She's now up to her ears in it herself. "Mwahahahaha," he said cruelly. CC |

Subject: RE: Virus Alert From: GUEST,Karen Date: 22 May 01 - 04:14 PM Thanks for the warning. I'll make a game of seeing how long it will take to hit here at work. In my office we all know not to open attached VBscripts from unknown sources but our co-workers in another state haven't caught on yet. They opened the "Homepage" one a couple of weeks ago and just yesterday opened the "Mawanella" one. Since we're on their mailing lists we get it all forwarded to our office......sigh. |

Subject: Virus Alert From: Chicken Charlie Date: 22 May 01 - 03:01 PM Our tech guys say this is an oldie, but if so it's coming around again. Anybody with virus experience will spot the red flags: sender is "hahaha@sexyfun.com" and subject is re. Snowhite & the Seven Dwarfs. It promises a "huge surprise" which is exactly what you get if you open it, so don't, already. CC |
