if it's anything like the last one we won't have a choice....... a few of us said "no" and it went ahead and upgraded itself anyway....

from what I ahve heard the main advantage with the new one is that you can type in different colours....... whoop-ee-do!!!!

So was I, it told me to ignore messages to upgrade. Shame they can't make up their minds....

I was warned in a trivia room.... NOT to update to the latest version.. because they were having more problems.. most of them had given up and gone back to the earlier one which thankfully they had not deleted....

Last night Paltalk told everyone to go download the latest version as there were mic problems with previous versions. I did so, and it works fine. Takes about 3 minutes start to finish with a fast connection. Since then, I have seen others who have not downloaded the latest version have a lot of problems. In particular, those with older versions cannot hear some (but not all) others speaking (or see any indication that they are trying to do so).
