'Catters in the north FL, southwest GA and southeast AL area, and any other 'catters who happen to be in the neighborhood, are invited to the first "sawmill jam" on saturday the 21st at the Cross Sawmill, located about five miles north of Iron City, GA on HWY 45. Iron City is kinda midway between Bainbridge and Donelsonville on US 84. Bring your own libations, and a little something for the grill and table. It's likely to be pretty hot at midday, so we'll get going about 3 or 4, eat about 7, and play as long as anybody wants to stay. Good folks, good fun and good music. The site is is a working "specialty mill", and the facilities ate rudimentary, so you might want to bring along a chair, some TP, and similar "necesities". If you need more info, send me a PM and I'll do my best to answer your questions. The only other thing to say is that this is a party for musicians, and there will be no advertizing. If you're looking for throngs of adoring fans, this isn't the place. But if you're looking to make music and new friends, it's definitely the place to be.
