I can't find anything. Just in case it trips somebody's trigger, the title in French would be "Je suis juste trop effrayé des loups" I think.........

In my last post, I forgot to mention the subject of the song. I don't recall specific verses, but it was basically a humorous piece in which the singer (a traveler, obviously -- trapper? merchant?) tells of his fear of wolves. Each verse ended with the words, "I'm just too scared of wolves." The opening line was something like, "As I was going to Vrendai." I probably have the name of that city or town all wrong.

Thanks again...

About 10 years ago, I took a book of folk-songs out of the library to make some photocopies. One of the songs I discovered in that collection was a really nice one called "I'm Just Too Scared Of Wolves." I believe it was a French-Canadian song, with lyrics provided in both French and English. It had a great tune with some very interesting rhythmic/melodic changes.

I've never run into the song before or since. Does anybody out there know it, or any collection in which the lyrics and melody can be found?

Thanks...and GREAT site!
