Yes, I did mean the Masters one, sorry I didn't have it to hand. I will look for the other you've mentioned. I hope Dick can help you out.

If you put Palani's name in the search and hit go, there should be a thread with a link to more info on him, as I know I've posted it in the past. If you can't find anything let me know and I'll get it for you.

Kat, thanks for the Camsco ref, I have emailed him. If you mean the Masters disc by Dancing Cat, I have it. For something very original try John Keawe, "Auhele." His slack key work is amazing, esp. "Whale Talk.". May be tape only, try Homestead Productions Box 577 Kapa'au, Hawai'i 96755, or I could make a copy if no longer available. Will have to try Palani Vaughn.

There is a really neat write up about the premiere of the movie in Hawaii HERE.

I'll keep looking for the CD. Be sure to call Dick Greenhaus at Camsco and see if he can get it for you. He's really good at hunting down the unusual.

As you collect Hawaiian music, do you have a wonderful cd Masters of the Slack Key Guitar? I think that is the name. It is gorgeous.

Also, do you have anything by Palani Vaughn. He does trad. songs with his chorus and he has a fantastic voice.

Saw a movie "Molokai" with Dutch credits, on Father Damien. EMI made a soundtrack cd with Hawaiian and other music, no longer in print (British-European release only?). Would like to get it and VHS as well. I collect Hawaiian music among other stuff. Any ideas on sources? This is NOT the Cox film with Jacobi.
