Subject: RE: Suggestion: Lyric site links From: DonMeixner Date: 11 Aug 01 - 10:13 PM See!!! I knew it was a good idea. I can't help it if other people are faster than me. Its still a good idea. Just last week I invented a one off duplicating tranfer copier that is perfect for printed material. I spread lamp black on one side of a sheet of paper and then place it face down between two other sheets of paper. You cand write on it or type on it and it copies directly. I have to think up a snappy name now and I'm ready to begin marketing. Don |

Subject: RE: Suggestion: Lyric site links From: Dicho (Frank Staplin) Date: 11 Aug 01 - 03:31 PM These links are very useful. My "Bookmarks" are too voluminous now and the links cut down on the clutter and editing. |

Subject: RE: Suggestion: Lyric site links From: catspaw49 Date: 11 Aug 01 - 02:10 PM Besides Sorcha's link which I also use, I hate to mention it Don, but we ALREADY DO have a Permathread started on Folkie, Songwriter Links HERE which is listed in the PermaThread Index. It includes submissions by various 'Catters and even a favorite of mine for the Grateful Dead. Spaw |

Subject: Suggestion: Lyric site links From: DonMeixner Date: 11 Aug 01 - 08:32 AM We seem to have a great many people, usually newbies and guests, looking for lyrics by specific writers. Bob Dylan, Phil Ochs, Stan Rogers,... the list is endless. Many of these people have sites, either their own or those maintained by fans where many of the lyrics to their songs are posted. Is it possible, and I suppose ethical, to lisy these lyric site in a permathread either as a collection of links or as addresses that can be copied and pasted? The benefit to these folks would be great and actually I'd use them often too. Don |
