Subject: RE: BS: Find the thread From: Mary in Kentucky Date: 17 Aug 01 - 11:28 PM So I guess it's up to me now to issue a new challenge. I'd like to reissue Gareth's... ********************************************************* Here in Wyoming, if you have sheep, there has to be a very lonely sheepherder. After all, I am sure Wyoming has the market on the slogan, "Wyoming...where men are men and sheep are nervous!" .......... ********************************************************** I'm thinking one of our Wyoming Catters said this... I'll check back here tomorrow. If I need to come up with one, I have an idea for an easy one.

Subject: RE: BS: Find the thread From: Naemanson Date: 17 Aug 01 - 11:08 PM Mary! You got it right off. Very good! Yeah, the vikings usually made a big splash in the gene pool wherever they went. |
|
Subject: RE: BS: Find the thread From: MMario Date: 17 Aug 01 - 04:51 PM The vikings got around - I remember reading that they traded into the area of Russia - and down into the Black Sea - and that one trade route actually approached Italy from the Eastern Mediterranean. I've been told there is also evidence for them going quite a ways past the pillars of Hercules south along the African coast. |
|
Subject: RE: BS: Find the thread From: Mary in Kentucky Date: 17 Aug 01 - 04:29 PM How 'bout this one? I think it's interesting because my friend Vikinglass always said red hair and blue eyes was a sign of nobility among Vikings (if there was such a thing). Also, I'm interested in the Vikings because some of the latest speculation about the genetic disposition of people with Multiple Sclerosis hints at a Viking connection...you know, how they spread their see amongst the Northern Climes! |
|
Subject: RE: BS: Find the thread From: MMario Date: 17 Aug 01 - 08:47 AM That's the fair one, fer shure, but I don't know which thread... |

Subject: RE: BS: Find the thread From: Naemanson Date: 17 Aug 01 - 08:35 AM OK, here is the next challenge! "...red hair, fair skin, and blue eyed Irish..." Have a go my brothers and sisters! |

Subject: RE: BS: Find the thread From: Burke Date: 16 Aug 01 - 12:56 PM It did not come up in the search engine. I took Gareth hint & looked at the thread, then did a find. I haven't been reading for these kinds of things so I reserve my turn for later. |

Subject: RE: BS: Find the thread From: Bert Date: 16 Aug 01 - 12:48 PM Hi Gargoyle me ol' buddy, how in the hell are you these days? No one is FORCED underground, they go underground by choice. But let's not muddy up the thread, send me a Personal message and we can chat to our hearts content. Rangeroger, is that the next quote, or are you making a comment on a previous post? ;-) If it IS a quote then the answers is ALLOVVEM. Naemanson, YOU guys are supposed to continue by choosing an unusual or odd quote and seeing if we can guess the thread |

Subject: RE: BS: Find the thread From: GUEST,.gargoyle Date: 16 Aug 01 - 03:13 AM Bert....
Become creative....very much like "variations-on-a-theme"
Because of Max's anal intutition, to make this forum "OPEN" to "ALL" the web......
Max has forced multiples of us....into an "underground" existance.
I.E....I KNOW.... (from now its....close to a decade of experience.... Yes, Max....I WAS in DT before 96) ...that some of "us" post under MULTIPLE NAMES....
This is not a "revalation" to the meowing kitty's in the corner.....
However,.......as multiple "catter's" are discovering..."their identities are being 'stolen.'" Sorry MAX....a "fun" "summer assignment" to be given to a neophyte group of pubescent "wanna-be....AKA wanna-learn" ....."HACKERS."......
YOU ARE SO VULNERABLE!!!!!!! 1> AKA ....log - in - three separeate times..... 2> Observe to assignation of numbrers 3> Determine the SET PATTERN 4> Randomly, chose number's within the assigned group 5> Examine ON LOCAL COMPUTER numbers 6> Determine pattern 7> Use "Notebook" 8> Determine the pattern (backwards is BEST!!!) 8> Reassign randomly....local numbers...until you find....the local ass-hole you want to flame.
9> Get varying values of classroom credit for: 1. ID theft 2. flaming of stolen ID 3. Confusion of SYSOP 4. Re-assignment of ID..... 5. Vote as a class for the best various par-mutations.
NOTE:///////The classes are strictly forbiden from altering the MC website (it is a public service).....a "stolen identity" is enough to demonstrate the "older-structure" vulnerabilties of the site. Currently, of the summer session, 100% have passed.. A most sincere thanks for an assessable training site. GTW..... Sie habe gross verbessen! It has been a :"learning experience"
Please patch the "holes" before the Fall term with 45 eagar students begins...you KNOW the vulnerabtilties...we "played with them this summer" ...make it a challenge this Fall....
Afterall, we are both about "education."
Sincerely, GARGOYLE
(I am who I am ...and that's all that I am...I'm)

Subject: Find the thread From: Bert Date: 15 Aug 01 - 04:26 PM Here's a new version of the thread name game. The game is "Which thead contains this quote" For starters the quote is "His turds were huge and solid blue. " The only rule (which I'm sure will get broken) is You have to guess the current quote before you can post the next. |
