Geez that was brief, I meant to write "Here you go Jon!" with the link but pressed submit a mite hastily. OOps. But I hope the link gives you the info you wanted, it would seem that it equals 28.5 in UK sizing.

Just found this and can't resist it:

"WORLD'S LARGEST SNEAKERS If cases of elephantitis are excluded, the biggest feet currently known are those of Matthew McGrory (born May 17, 1973) of Pennsylvania, USA, who wears US size 29.5 sneakers!"

Jon (who want's to know what US size 29.5 is in UK or metric sizes)

Johnny Weismuller, except for maybe the first film, was the absolute worst Tarzan. And Basil Rathbone was not the best Sherlock Holmes nor was Nigel Bruce ever a decent Watson.

Anyone attempting Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson after Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce.

That whole Nic Cage as Superman thing has been mercifully killed in it's sleep!!!

Anybody that came after Tom baker as Dr. Who... It's no wonder the series died slowly after Tom left...

The was a descusion on here resently about the Sharp Series with Shawn Bean. but the most reasent books are set Before Sharp joined the riffles, so he'd have to be played by a younger Actor. & I can't realy see any 1 filling those shoes.

There was supposed to be a remake of Harvey - made for television - with Harry Anderson in the Stewart role. It never made it to TV. And don't forget the actress who played Elwood's sister (Josephine Hull?) That was her role alone.

There was a short-lived TV series based on Casablanca. I forget who was in it. Aside from the lead actors, who could replace Peter Lorre and Sydney Greenstreet? They were two of the best back-up actors ever.

Nic Cage after Christopher Reeve. All the Batman directors trying to follow Tim Burton. Planet of the Apes, the whole damn thing. Dire Straits drummers following Pick Withers.

Graham.

My daddy's. And after his, John Wayne's. JoAnn was perhaps not a great actor but what he did, he did well. Just like Jimmy Stewart.

Wanted to respond to Celtic Soul's thread on, " Worst Miscast Ever? ", but I kept thinking of people who were replacing someone else. Lex Barker as Tarzan? After Jonny Weismueller! George Lazenby as Bond? After Sean Connery ! How about Jay Leno? After Johnny Carson !

What do you think?
