RHYTHMS OF THE GLOBE "...officially launched its website on May 11, 2001. ...Rhythms of the Globe features artists from around the world whose work transcends cultures and geographical borders."

Included now are a number of interesting artists, with clips to hear as well as some biographical info.

My personal impression, after a quick site cruise and a few sound clips, is that this is what many might not recognize as folk, but is definitely stuff a lot of Mudcatters will be interested in. And the site itself is promising.
