Thanks, Joe! Dharmabum sent me a tape and I lost track of the thread. It's good to have a transcription, though. (I know there are a couple of letters that morphed into something else through the magic of HTML code, but I can tell what they're supposed to be.)

I am still hoping for the lyrics to be posted too, but maybe a more Spanish-fluent friend will help me transcribe them.

I am still hoping someone will post the lyrics, since I am not fluent enough in Spanish to transcribe them from hearing the tape that Dharmabum is sending me.

Many years ago I heard a song sung by Carolyn Hester, called "Lindo Capulio (sp?) de Alalia (sp?). It was about a beautiful little chapel. The last line was "Porque tu sabes capulito de [whatever the town's name was].

Can someone help me find the lyrics? I still remember the tune and the chords would be easy.
