Well I guess I'm going to have to go and find a copy. I'd given up reading it long ago because of their biased opinions against nuclear power.

But we gotta support our WYO and Alice.

Bert.

Didn't we have another thread about this? Whatever, I again congratulate our buddy WW on the great new job and our own Alice too for the illustration.

Whoa....didn't even know MENews still existed....in 1970 when my husband and I went "back to the land" we devoured every issue. Then it seemed to sort of drift away from its roots and then we moved and I lost track. Congrats WyoWoman and good luck with the mag. I will certainly buy a copy, if I can find one out here in the boonies.

Actually, I've been trying to interest our publisher in such a thing (Max-made), but we don't have the money right now, since we just bought the magazine. However, I haven't given up on the idea.

Bless y'all -- all y'all -- for the good words and the atta-grrls. I deeply appreciate it and will try to keep living up to your great expectations!

Much love, Wyo

I like the online site too, and the discussion area too-- it has some of the same topics we have been discussing at Jon's Annexe!

But hey.... don't they REALLY need a Max-made forum?

And don't we need a sponsored link here, to the magazine's forum?

(Someday)

WoW! I say it on the newstand and saw KC's name looking very "commanding and spiffy" BUT I didn't know that about Alice's illustration. Will go back and get it!

Congratulations to you both!

Thanks, Allan.

Check out the September issue of "Mother Earth News" magazine! This is the first issue to hit the stands that bears the name of our own WyoWoman, aka K.C. Compton, as Managing Editor. She has made a few nice changes so far and more are in the works for future issues.

While you are looking, be sure to take a peek at an article titled, "The Bat Patrol", on page 42. There you'll find a mighty fine illustration that was created by Alice in Montana . Unfortunately, Alice Flynn's artwork does not appear in the online version of the magazine. You'll just have to go find a copy of the magazine, now won't you!

Congratulations to both of these Mudcatters for jobs well done!
