HEy I feel truly honoured here! A thread search for meeee. welll thanks for the well wishes etc. Linda and I had a great time doink the boaty thingy. one or two watercolours too. And just to make this thread mudcaty stuff...we checked out the local folky scene at Bollington. Twas quite a nite, more successful than the 'Pig n Rat'episode Ickle!!

I found the candlelit Sandbach unplugged last nite at The Crown and was made very welcome. What a lovely town this is too.

Oh and to all those who have supported the threads to spread word of my lost Baby Taylor, sadly it did not turn up. I have replaced it with The Big Baby Taylor. Slightly bigger, but thin enuff to be really comfortable to play.

I will be at Nellies..beginning of nxt month, and the Shanty thing in Whitby too.

I think that she was going for another Baby Taylor - she loved that little 'un. The original was insured (thank goodness) but was stolen by some non-folkies from the Tap 'n' Spile, Whitby. No doubt Little Dove will bring us all back up to date when she can get the use of a computer. She's a floating narrowboat person now, y'know.

Sad to say Roz(White Dove) has not had her baby Taylor returned to her, but she has bought another guitar and so all is not lost!!! We hope to hit a few folk venues in the Stoke on Trent area over the next few days and to knuckle down t some watercolouring -it's not the real world, but hey, it's as good as!!!

Don't know about guitars, but I know someone whe left a Wheatstone concertina in its box on the car roof - TWICE. First time was OK, second time it got crushed by a car - but has been (or was being) rebuilt!

Even I can figure this one out: If Roz calls Ickle with the correct number, Ickle can call Dove. Hopefully, it is about her guitar being found. Wouldn't it be wonderful if the Dove has in fact pulled a Pete Seeger and left it on the roof of her car and now it is being returned by the man who found it by the side of the road...

Well folks this is how it is -she doesn't have a computer of her own BUT she does use one at the local library -you see I'm not so daft as my mother says I am! Problem resolved for she has contacted me and I am now looking forward to a weekend on her canal boat doing a bit of painting a bit of singing and not much of anything else!!!!
