Judging from past years, if we have to do trans-atlantic or trans-pacific mailings, we need to get them out early in Nov. for the cheapest rates. I should think the anthrax in the mail problems will also cause mail slow-downs. |

From: Blackcatter Date: 22 Oct 01 - 09:05 PM greetings all I looked around in the U.S. Postal Service site - I couldn't see any time estimations for International mail (typical) so I went to the Canadian Postal Service site and they say give an extimation of 6 to 10 days. Of course, the closer we get to the holidays the slower the service. How about if we all mail by about December 1? I guess it doesn't matter - but if you have an international Santee - just make sure to check with your local post office to see how long it will take. Does that sound ok? |

I suspect caused by people not reading whole threads all the way through... do try to stay with the rest of the class people... Here goes... The sign up thread and other important information... Please confine your questions to that post, and re-post any questions you may have that have been posted elsewhere to that thread as well... The Hints Thread... Please, do fill out as much of the questionnaire as you can... take a day to think about it even... The more info you give the easier it'll be for your Santa to pick something for you... please, don't be arrogant enough to assume that we "don't need to know that much" when you've never been a part of one of these things before... The Original thread Quite a few people have posted here, and I suspect they may not have seen the all important "So Who's In" thread... If you fit that description, please have a look at that thread and see if the whole thing is a little clearer o.k... |
