Just wanted to tell you that JudeL called me a few minutes ago. She is well, enjoying the mountains in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, including the Zugspitze (no wonder, weather is brilliant!).

For timing reasons we will not meet - what a pity!

Sinsull, in German, it is Kuckucksuhr, in English this would be Cuckoo clock (named after the bird).

On Thursday, Paul & I will be going on the ferry to Calais & driving on down to visit some friends near Ramstein in Germany. Plans are a bit fluid at the mo but will probably include a couple of days down in the Alps. Any info re folkie type stuff in the area will be gratefully recieved. We're booked to come back a week Monday. Gasp ten days without mudcat or folk music .... I'll get withdrawl .... help!! Jude
