I think it's the words that ljc wants, Boab..

Christine (or Christina) Harrison has recorded it - found it on a Google search last night.

The lyrics do not appear to be on the 'Net...

I've got half-a-dozen old song books, but it's not in any of them. And to my recollection I've never heard it sung.

Cheers

Steven

"Bonnie Scotland, I adore thee, Tho' Im far across the sea; And when loneliness creeps o'er me, my thoughts fly home to thee. In my fancy I can see thee noo, the bonnie heather braes-- Remind me o' my childhood days, Bring back fond memories--of--

Scotland, Scotland, Scotland aye sae braw, My heart it dwells in Scotland, tho' I'm sae far awa';

Take me back amang the wild woods, tae view the Rowan tree-- Tae wander by my ain wee hoose, that's aye sae dear tae me

Sae dear tae me, sae dear tae me--that's aye sae dear tae me!"

-----I can sing the melody---but how to get it across?

Hi, John - the previous thread came up with all sorts of information about songs with the title you wanted - but you said they weren't the ones. It helps if you tell us everything you know about the song so we don't go barking up the wrong tree.
Also note that it's good to put the song title in the title of the thread - I changed this thread title for you.

Sill looking? Is that something like eavesdropping?
